Almost every Memorial Day weekend, I go to Fleet Week. In this year, USS New York was the biggest attraction because it was built with WTC steel. I got a super cute sailor as a guide, showing me inside of the ship.
Ship Graveyard

I’ve been fascinated by the abandoned ships and barges in Staten Island, NY. I call the area “ship graveyard”. When the tide was low, I was able to walk on the ships. It was very apocalyptic feeling. Those ships used to be an important part of human life. But now, they are just garbage by the shore…waiting to be fallen apart, waiting to disappear.
